The Varsity Lady Knights softball team versed the Warrenton Warriors Friday afternoon and earned themselves a victory after a grueling 11 innings. When asked how she felt the game went, Senior Paige Pauley said, “We should’ve short-gamed them, but we kept up with them, and eventually worked through it and won” Sophomore Austine Pauley hit two homeruns and sister Paige Pauley ended the game for the Knights by driving in the final run of the night. After the game, Coach Bob Dunahue commented, “we made some mistakes, but just kept on workin'” (photos by paige martinez)
