to it, whether it be because of the coworkers, customers or just the job in general.

“Heck no, the customers aren’t always right but yes they do make me laugh and are generally nice.” Senior, Brooke Horner said.
Brooke works at Firehouse Subs located by Bass Pro shops on Bass Pro Dr. She has only worked there for a month but in an average work week she works 18 hours but usually isn’t scheduled anymore than four days.
“A typical day at work is coming into work, putting on my apron and gloves, stand there for 5 hours and wait till we close to leave.” Junior, Brooke said.
According to Brooke, she likes how much she gets paid but the lack of a dishwasher makes her work harder in order to wash all the dishes on time. But the upside to the job is it is fast paced so she is usually constantly busy, the downside is she doesn’t generally like working with people all the time. She also thinks that the food tastes alright but it tends to get old if you eat it a lot.
“My job is either taking orders or putting the meat on the subs and cutting and wrapping them up.” Junior, Brooke said.
