The FHN Cross country team had a meet on Friday, Sept. 21 at Koch Park. The meet was one of the the team’s best meets of the season. The temperature wasn’t too hot, there was no mud, and the course was flat compared to the other courses the team has ran at this season. The team ended up making a lot of personal records. According to varsity runner Lewis Tucker, the meet was pretty easy, and there wasn’t much tough about it except for the running.

“It was nice weather and the course wasn’t to terribly messed up, unlike the other meets.” Tucker said.

Overall the team had a really good meet. The team had 23 PRs overall out of all 39 runners. They look to improve their times even further at Parkway West on Sept. 30.

“I think they ran awesome, we finally had good weather, we dropped some really fast times, and both our top guys were in top 25, were looking really fast.” Head coach Kim Martin said.
