It’s that time of year again. The weather is dropping and with this fall in temperature comes a fall in prices. If you’re still struggling to find that perfect Christmas gift, there are plenty of stores around the area that are still having Christmas sales that will last well up into the days before Christmas. Without further adieu, here are some local stores that have some decent sales for the holidays.

Walmart: From toys to clothes, Walmart has all kinds of sales. You can find almost anything here. Prices vary from store to store, so it’s best for you to just go to your local stores and find some sales for yourself.  Some of their top sellers are:

  • Playstation 4 Controller, $30
  • Google Smart TV Kit, $40
  • LED Smart Desk Lamp, $30
  • 48” Air Hockey Table, $35

JCPenney: More of a clothes and appliance person? JCPenney would be the perfect place for you! JCPenney will have a variety of sales on shirts, pants, sweaters, jeans, etc. well into the Christmas season. It’s also a nice destination for gift cards. Up until December 24th, JCPenney jewelry will be up to 55% off, as well as 20-45% off on select shirts, sweatpants, and jeans.
Gamestop: If you’re Christmas target is looking for games this year, Gamestop is the place to go. Up until December 19th, Gamestop will have a variety of sales on consoles, controllers, and games. Currently, you could save up to $50 on a PS4 w/ controller bundle, or $30 on a new Nintendo Switch console. There will also be a buy one get one free sale on select gamer apparel and toys, as well as select bargain games that will be sold for under $20, such as Arkham Knight and DOOM.

Bass Pro: If you have a family of campers, hunters or the likes, then Bass Pro is your destination. Seriously, this place has all kinds of sales going on right now. Hiking boots and athletic shoes are currently up to 20% off. Tents, sleeping bags, and camping cookware currently have reduced prices as well, up to $35 off on select tents. Need comfortable clothing? A new warm coat or hat? Bass Pro has those, with a pretty good number of them having some kind of reduced price for the holidays.
 

Michaels: This place is absolutely chock full of sales on art supplies. Whether you’re buying for a professional or for a young novice, this store will most likely have a sale on the supplies that you need. There are all kind of buy one, get one 50% off sales on crayons, markers, and colored pencils alike. Have an older, more experienced artist you’re buying for? All media art sets are available for only $25. Michaels also sells all kinds of Christmas decor, appropriate for this time of the year. You can find all the art supplies you need at Michaels.

Best Buy: I’m sure most of you have someone you know hoping for a smartphone, TV, Playstation, or any other wide variety of expensive electronics. With Amazon being clogged and over-used, ordering these items from there could be a mistake, as they could take weeks to get here, possibly even after Christmas. A nice alternative is Best Buy. There are plenty of local Best Buy’s with a variety of deals. You could save up to $100 on tablets, up to $150 on select smartphones, and up to $250 on select gaming PC’s and laptops. I highly advise that you check this place out for their wide variety of deals.
