FHN Band To Go to Orlando, Florida Over Fall Break

The FHN Band is going to travel to Orlando, Florida, over fall break to perform in the theme park marching performance.

“Since [the Kansas City trip in March] went so well, I imagined the Orlando trip is going to be good as well,” junior trumpet player Jaden Christensen said. “We’re gonna have bigger buses. We have to bring all of our equipment and everything. I am looking forward to it.”

This is the second large trip since COVID forced the members to stop playing in farther distanced locations.

“I’m actually really excited, because it’s my last year in band and we didn’t really get to do any overnight competitions like we usually would any of my four years here,” senior flute player Amelia Cosper said.
