During one of the last games of the season, junior Kennedy Jones broke the school record for most blocks during a season. The previous record was 110, but it now stands at 122.

“It felt really good [to break the record] because there was a lot of support from the parents, managers and my teammates,” Jones said.

The varsity girl’s volleyball season ended on Oct.18 after a loss against Westminster, resulting in a season record of 8-20-3.

“It was not the outcome we wanted, but we saw many good things in that game and our seniors played their hearts out,” Assistant Coach Danielle Dagenais said.
