As you may know, there were a lot of heat warnings for the severe weather conditions we had over the last few weeks of summer, but that’s not the only thing that was heating up over the summer. USA Network’s hit original series “Burn Notice” returned for it’s fourth season with the audience’s favorite burned-spy Michael Westen.
Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) was a former covert-spy working for the United States government before he was officially “burned” by an unknown organization that was working within the United States government by dealing “unofficially” with situations and suspected terrorist groups all over the world.
When Michael found out he had been “burned”, he set out on a personal mission to find whoever had done this to him and make them pay. Along the way Michael has met up with many allies, and enemies, consisting from his gun-enthusiastic girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and his former F.B.I. agent, and best friend, Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell).
At the beginning of the season we were introduced to an insane, psychopathic, and also former spy name Simon Escher (Garret Dillahunt) who had been stalking Michael to try and persuade him over into using violent, inhumane ways to get attention from “Management”, the covert operations branch, to lure out anyone who might have ties with whoever had “burned” them.
No matter what will happen to Michael and his team, you can always count on lots of explosions, gun-fire, snappy one-liners, and a gripping story-line that will always keep you on the edge-of-your-seat throughout each episode. If there was a show that was always thrilling, intense with action, and would make viewers to come back and beg for more, this show would be the one.
