This Friday, September 10, brings about the first airing of FHN’s podcast, FHNtodayTV. The podcast comes out every other week on Fridays. It is also aired on the Charter Local Channel on Mondays and Wednesdays. The FHNtodayTV video team has been doing a lot of prepping to get ready for their big launch.
“At the moment everyone involved is working on their stories. We have also been teaching new staff members about working with video,” said video editor, Lauren Smith.
Each episode consists of a feature story, a news story, and an around the hallways piece. A feature story is a story that can be about any person, place, or event that could be considered interesting. This episode’s feature story is on varsity cheerleader Rachel Hampton.
“I chose to do this story because its a little bit deeper, it’s not just about a random place, which is what I usually choose,” said senior Nicole Thompson.
This years podcast team is seeing the return of several veteran members, and they are expecting their best year to date for FHNtodayTV.
“I think its going to go really well this year because we have so many people there who already know what’s going on and how to work things,” said Thompson.
Speaking of things returning from last year, FHNtodayTV is the revamped version of its previous incarnation, KnightLife. It features an all-new intro and effects that are adding to the team’s excitement to unveil the show.
“We changed the name of the show to FHNtodayTV to make it more cohesive with the website and the rest of the publications,” said Smith.
So don’t forget to check out the all- new FHNtodayTV’s first episode of the year this Friday at FHNtoday.com, or on the Charter local channel next Monday.
