On Tuesday, Sept. 20, after school Chemistry Club members will be tie-dying t-shirts. The shirts created will be used as the official Chemistry Club shirts that will be worn whenever they take field trips, such as the magic show they will have at Henderson Elementary. Sponsor Karen Hill sees it as a very enjoyable experience for the members.
“The most fun is when your tie-dying you don’t now what it’s going to look like until the next day, so it’s a surprise,” Hill said.
With the shirts being so unique in both color and style, members are also allowed to customize them to make them their own.
“I’m going to get chem club and stuff printed on them this upcoming week,” Oliva Barfield said. “We’re looking forward to it because it will distinguish us in a crowd.”
