On Oct. 8, yet another romantic comedy/drama is coming to theatres. In Life as We Know It, Holly (played by Katherine Heigl) and Eric (played by Josh Duhmael) go on a horrible first date. Both are happy to be rid of each other when the night is over. But when their mutual friends unexpectedly die, Holly and Eric are shocked to find that their friends made them the mutual guardians of their daughter, Sophie. The rest is horribly predictable in this new movie. Countless other movies have been made with the same plot: a guy and a girl hate each other, then they are thrown together in unexpected circumstances. It does not take a movie buff to figure out the ending. Overall, Life as We Know It does not seem worth the $10 to see it in theatres.
