Facebook is something that has become an integral part of the lives of millions of people today, so much so that they recently released a movie about it. In the past, Mark Zuckerburg (the founder of Facebook) has taken a lot of heat about the privacy of personal information for users of Facebook, and recently the Wall Street Journal released a report claiming that Facebook games like Farmville, Frontiersville, and many other less well-known games are sending user IDs of the people who play the games to third parties and advertisers. So before you plant your crops on Farmville remember that the Internet may say Facebook is private it is not by any means as private as it seems.

I love the very basics of Facebook. I love i.m.ing people online and the news feed. Unfortunately that’s all I like about the site. There is way too much spam on the site and Facebook does nothing about it. That is the biggest reason I want to leave. The only problem is that not everyone I know and their cat has a Skype or AIM.
