Ellen Hopkins’ newest book Fallout goes along with her previous books Crank and Glass. The point of view is switched from Kristina to three of her children; Hunter, Autumn, and Summer. I believe Fallout is a good read. However, don’t try to read it without having read the others or you will be terribly lost. I think Fallout gives us a good look at how the lives of those around illegal drug users are affected. It doesn’t have a happy ending. However, it doesn’t have a sad ending either. There really is no ending, since Ellen Hopkin’s Crank series is about real lives. I guess you could say it’s a cliffhanger and you just have to make your own ending the way you think things will turn out for them. So if you like cliffhangers, read this book! For those of you reading this who have yet to read anything by Ellen Hopkins, here is a list of all of her books. It includes synopses of all of her books in case your not totally convinced it is something you’d like to spend your hard-earned money on. On a personal note, if you know someone who has a drug problem check this out. Don’t be afraid to get involved. They’ll be thankful. Check ya later!
