Did you know we, as Americans, are considered the most obese country in the world and are, on average, considered only sixty-nine percent happy with our lives. This is a huge factor towards living a happy lifestyle. The more physical activity you can do daily promotes more happiness. Certain studies showed that after exercising for 20 minutes, 3 times a week, happiness levels increased by 10-20% in all subjects just after 6 months. Also happy people are healthier in general. It is shown that happy people produce as much as 50% more antibodies than people who are unhappy or depressed. My major point being for this week is to set down the barbecue flavored potato chips and go outside and do something. It doesn’t have to be much. Maybe it’s just a walk, or bike ride, or perhaps a swim in the neighbor’s pool. Be active and stay fit. It will bring you more confidence into your daily life situations and provide you with much less stress.
