The HTC Evo may be the premier phone for Google’s Android operating system, and it is a sleek looking gadget. This phone is really pretty big, like some kind of tablet-phone hybrid. The phone is actually so big they put a kickstand on it(which is nice when you are watching movies or videos on youtube). And with that being said for some people this is great, you get a large screen and the goodies that come with that. On the other hand, this isn’t so great with people who don’t want to tote around a huge phone.
With it running the Android operating system the phone has access to apps that do many of the incredible feats that Apple’s iOS can do, but they are free! Although, because of the open-source quality of the App Store on the Android there are less Apps. I would guess though that this will change over time, and eventually the apps will be on par with the iOS App Store.
The screen being massive makes typing easier, and web surfing a breeze. I have only two complaints about this phone: the phone needs some kind of giant fuel cell to power it because the massive-ness of it makes the battery life slim, and that the touch screen is not quite as good as the iPhone 4 which has an incredible touch screen. So if your phone company does not cover the iPhone and it does cover this or you simply do not want an iPhone then you may want to look into the HTC Evo 4G
