On Nov. 13, the second annual craft fair was held in the gym to raise money for the FHN All Knighter. For $40 a piece, crafters were given space to set up and sell their merchandise to people from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some participants, including Fire and Water Creations owner Ken Carron, used this opportunity to advocate their businesses.
“It will definitely get better as more people participate year by year,” Carron said.
132 crafters participated in this year’s fair, compared to last year’s 83 participants. To help increase the number of attendants and total money raised, the All Knighter commitee included pictures with Santa and a bake sale, with food items that were donated by parents of senior students.
“We expected to raise just over $6,000 [for the All Knighter],” Yvette Pilkington, who was in charge of the craft fair, said.
