When you think of a community college you tend to think about somewhere close to home. It would be some place that’s nice, possibly small, easy to get to, and lots of people. NBC took the idea of exploring community college in their own way. In 2009 the released a new series called “Community” that follows a group of students, young and old, at Greendale Community College who have all come together for their own reasons.Mainly the show follows the main character named Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) as he was fired from his previous career of being a lawyer, so he decides to go back to school to get a more refined degree. Along the way he makes new friends, including a man named Pierce Hawthorne who is played by Chevy Chase.
In all the show is always full of comedy, drama, action, but more than any other it is a hilarious show. It does most of the time have some vulgar-like humor, but honestly what show doesn’t these days. If you want to find a show that will make you laugh until you fall on the floor, Community is the right show for you and you can catch it every Thursday on NBC.
