Frau Fest was on Feb. 11 in the auditorium. Student bands and performers gathered to show their material to the audience. A first time performer, junior Bryan Ryberg, showed off his break dancing skills with confidence.
“I think it went pretty good even though the crowd was more rock,” Ryberg said. “I still got a good reaction out of them.”
Only hours before going on stage, Ryberg found out that his partner, junior Christian Hickerson, wasn’t going to be able to make it. Ryberg then found sophomore Charles Russell to join him. The people in the crowd ended up enjoying it.
“I thought Bryan was really good, and Charles added a comedic aspect to the performance,” senior Isiah Glenn said.
Ryberg didn’t let the fact he was break dancing alone effect him. He went out there and did what he does best.
“[My favorite part was] the adrenaline rush I got when I was on stage,” Ryberg said.
Ryberg has already planned his performance for next year.
“I will be doing it next year with Christian Hickerson,” Ryberg said.
