The New Kid by Temple Matthews is a science fiction type of book. There are two major characters, Will Hunter and Natalie Holand. Will is always moving around. He went from high school to high school, just not for the reasons you would suspect. I don’t want to give anything away because I think this should be on your reading list so I can’t say much more about the plot. However, I will say that at it’s core it is an evil versus good with a few family issues thrown in. And if you do want to read it you’ll have to either go online or rush to the nearest Borders before they close because that is the only place this book is sold. I really liked this book, which was a pleasant surprise.
