On March 8 Girls Basketball celebrated their final goodbye to the season with an awards ceremony in the commons from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The awards ceremony included awards such as offensive and performance M.V.P, attendance award, and best free throw percentage.
“We give these awards out to show how much we appreciate all the girls on the team,” Varsity coach Matt Watson said.
The Girls Basketball team ended the season with 10-14.
“I thought the season went pretty well, we didn’t go to our full potential but it was still a pretty good season,” junior Lauren Kopf said.
Even though the girls as a whole had a great season, star players stand out from the rest.
“(I think ) the person who did a good job this season is Kelsey Fouch, I just think she is responsible for a lot of the success we had this year,” Watson said.
