The final ACT testing opportunity for the 2010-2011 year is just days away. For many students the ACT is one of the biggest tests someone will have to take in their life. Students are recommended to take it at least three times by the time they graduate high school. The score of the ACT helps show what you should do after high school.
“The ACT helps when (students) start to apply for college early admission and clearly the more you take it the better the score you get,” English teacher Shelly Grimshaw said.
Some are using it to try and get their score up a few more points, but others are taking the test for the first time this Saturday.
“(I’m taking the June test) because the April one will be my first and I want to have two under my belt before my senior year,” Junior Alex Savala said.
