The first goal of the game was scored by sophomore Keegan Fouch. The Knights ended the first half of the game with the tied score of 1-1. In the middle of the second half of the game, Fouch scored again, ending the game with the final score of Knights-2, Panthers-1.
” It feels great because it means we’ve earned something that not every team gets to experience,” said Junior Jason Michalski after winning the game.
After a season of 12 losses, odds were against FHN’s Varsity boys Soccer team. Last season the soccer team consisted of mostly seniors and was considered a dream team. Junior Jason Michalski believed in the team all along.
“We won because we tried our hardest to come out ahead,” said Michalski. ” We are a good team that has proved ourselves in many ways and have worked for all that we’ve earned.”
