The Varsity boys Basketball team participated in the second annual tournament against Parkway West at the Family Arena on Dec. 15. The Knights were in it to win it the first half of the game, with the score reading 20-22.
“The highlight of the game for me was when Kyle Lemons made two free throws before half time to put us up by two right before going into the locker room.” Alex Seamon said.
By mid third quarter Parkway West steps up their game and takes the lead putting the score at 29-24.
“My reaction when West took the lead was that we needed to stop playing selfish basketball and rebound.” Ryan Jeppesen said.
With 17 points scored by both teams in the fourth quarter Parkway West won the game with a final score of 46-41.
