Aly Bouquet is a senior on the Varsity girls Swimming team. She has been on the team since she was a freshman and feels like the team has been able to bond particularly well this year.
“Over the year so far I’ve become really close with the other swimmers and it has been a very fun group to be with,” Bouquet said.
Bouquet is involved with many other activities in school such as Mu Alpha Theta, Class Delegates, pole vaulting in the spring, and Volunteer Knights as well as being president of National Honor Society. She said that her schedule has been very busy.
“It’s been really hard growing together as a team and getting to know everyone through team bonding,” Bouquet said. “It’s harder to bond in swimming than in any other sport, especially for me with my schedule.”
Bouquet has really enjoyed this year so far. She said that she has broken some personal records so far but tries not to focus on the times.
“I’m really not too concerned with where I finish and my times,” Bouquet said. “I’m doing this more just to stay physically active. I am really happy I swam this year.”
