The Knights prepare to face Troy at 6:30 in the FHN gym on Thursday, Jan. 26. The North Ladies have home court advantage, so they are hoping to add another win to their (5-13) record. The team has worked hard this season so far but have been trying to develop a stronger offense to increase the scoring for this next game against Troy.
Even though Troy is a very fundamentally sound basketball team with a record of (9-6), the Lady Knights are a very fast and aggressive team that have been working hard together during practices. The team runs different offensive plays, works on their free throws, and condition during practices to strengthen the skills they would need during a game.
“During the off-season and outside of basketball practices I work out and play at the Rec Plex to work on my individual game to make my team better, guard Deann Krufal said.
The Lady Knights are striving to add more wins to their record and working hard to overcome some teammates injuries.
“My expectations for the game against Troy is to see the improvement on the defensive side and gain a win for the team,” center Emma Nicolli said.
