Cheering rang throughout the FHN gymnasium this morning as the school celebrated its annual winter pep assembly and as Seniors Katie Hammann and Brady Hawkes were recognized as this year’s Snowcoming king and queen.
This year’s pep assembly only consisted of one spirit meter, unlike past years when there were multiple. This year there were many games played at the pep assembly between the classes like a three-legged race, balloon relay, freeze dance and “Who am I?” which is a game where students had to guess what teacher was shown in a baby picture.
“I thought it was funny to see baby pictures of the teachers,” Sophmore Chris Cattron said. “Next time they should do embarrassing photos of teachers.”
The assembly also consisted of performances by the Freshman, JV, and varsity cheerleaders as well as JV Knightline, and varsity Knightline, which featured Studline.
“Studline was my favorite performance because they were entertaining and it was funny,” Junior Monica Cattron said. “This was the best dance I have seen them do.”
