1.What was the best class you had at North this past year and why?
” I absolutely hate picking favorites. All my classes have their ups and downs, and all my teachers absolutely rock.”
2.What was the most memorable school event from the past year and why?
“The Marching Band Competition as St. Charles West. It was the first time in, I believe, 6 years that our Marching band won overall grand champion of a competition. It’s amazing to be a part of a group that’s able to do something like that.”
3.What was the toughest part of the year for you?
“I haven’t had any real struggles this past year. If I had to choose one, it would be my new job. I knew I had a lot of free time before, but apparently not as much as I thought. Once I finally got a job, the time balancing thing was a struggle for a little bit.”
4.What do you think was the most memorable outside of school news event from this
past year and why do you think it was such a big deal?
“The only thing that comes to mind would be the counter-protest with the whole Westboro Church ordeal.”
5.What was your favorite movie that came out last year and why?
” Though it was last summer, Transformers: Dark of the Moon still reigns as my favorite, with Harry Potter 7: Part 2 as a close second. Any movie with explosions in it is a good movie. That’s a simple rule.”
6.What’s your favorite game to play on a phone or tablet and why?
“Angry Birds Space. Those who have played it need no explanation; those who haven’t played it need to play it.”
7.What are you most looking forward to in the coming year?
“Senior year. What’s not to look forward to?”
8.What are you most nervous about for next year?
“It’s our last year of high school. Our last year to make a difference before we head off into the real world.”
9.What are you planning to do differently next year than you did this year.
“Not injure/break any part of my body. Does that count as an answer?”
10.What one bit of advice do you have for students at North next year?
“Only one thing comes to mind really: You walk on the right side of the hallway. Thank you.”
