Thursday Sept. 6 Girls Volleyball will play against Timberland in Wentzville. The Freshman and JV games start at 4:15 p.m. and after those are finished Varsity should begin at about 5:15 p.m.
“[The hardest part about playing Timberland is] I think staying focused because they have a rowdy crowd that can get in your head and distract you from the game,” varsity player, Maddie Eifert, said.
JV player, Emily Grzybinski recalls last year that the freshman team did not win against Timberland so now she is wanting to beat them.
“They have a really good front row and most of them are tall so it’s hard to go up against them,” Grzybinski said.
So far this year, the JV team has played three games. They are undefeated and are hoping to keep it that way.
“[I’m most looking forward to] just getting to be back out on the court with my team and working together and hopefully getting another win,” JV player, Anna Ford said.
