Girls’ Varsity Volleyball continued their struggles on the year by losing the 14th game of the season in two games against the Timberland Wolves, staying winless on the season. Before the game many of the Lady Knights volleyball players were confident with their chances of winning.
“I had a really good feeling about the game and I thought we were going to get that first win of the season, but unfortunately that’s not how it worked out,” Junior Danielle Dagenais said.
The Lady Knights had a couple of moments where they shined but they just couldn’t bring it all together through a whole game. Although they received another loss there were a couple of bright spots from the game.
“In the second game we started to make a comeback, because we started to come together and play as a team, point by point,” Junior Stonyrae Harris said.
The girls have a chance to redeem themselves tonight when they play the 5-7 Barat Academy Eagles. The Lady Knights are determined to get that magical first win of the year against the Eagles.
“We don’t have any time to prepare, but we just gotta come out and play at 110% the whole game and we will get the job done,” Dagenais said.
