The French Club is once again carrying on the tradition of selling Père Noël Grams, small holiday cards that students can purchase to send to their friends for only a dollar. These holiday greetings will be available for purchase through Dec. 3 and can be purchased from French Club members and their adviser David Fritz.
“You get to send a message to your friends for Christmas,” French Club Vice President Maria Remolina said. “Some of the students are very excited.”
Students can choose from different languages on their cards and personalize their message to their pals. Along with their card, students will receive a carnation flower.
“I think they think it’s kind of cool to get a holiday gift from a friend,” Fritz said. “And it’s inexpensive.”
Selling the inexpensive Père Noël Grams has been going on for years. It’s become a tradition for the French Club even though very little money is made from them.
“It’s a tradition that we’ve been selling them for a long time and people seem to like them,” Fritz said. “It’s a nice way to celebrate the holidays.”
