Many freshmen do not get the chance to play varsity sports but for Freshmen Abbey Carpenter and Austine Pauley that is not the case. Before highschool Carpenter cheered for 6 years and Pauley played for 5. They both have upper classmen athletes they look up to who have made their transition to varsity sports more smooth.
