Last week, the Francis Howell School District decided to extend the deadline for the discounted Rosetta Stone license.
“People have been inquiring and we extended it and have gotten more people to apply,” Eva Sieb, who handles the Rosetta Stone license transactions for FHSD, said.
Feb. 8 is the new deadline. Access to the license will begin on Feb. 16 for anybody who met the first deadline or meets the second one. An e-mail will be sent those eligible for the license with the directions and a username/password combination to log in to an access site.
According to Sieb, it’s difficult to predict whether or not this year’s sales will exceed last year’s, where the deadline was also extended.
“At the end of it, it might be just as successful,” Sieb said.
