Even with a valiant effort from Howell North, the Knights fall 52-67 at home against Parkway North on senior night.
“It was a tough loss on senior night but we have to fight through it if we have any chance at districts,” FHN forward Josh Carpenter said.
The Knights were not able to overcome a 17-33 deficit at halftime with a failed rally in the fourth quarter.
“I still think we have what it takes to win we just need to apply it more,” guard Callen Hall said.
Some clutch plays from FHN helped at out. Guard Callen Hall made a two point shot in the final seconds of the first quarter. Also FHN guard Kyle Lemons dunked at the buzzer at the end third quarter. The clutch performances could not help FHN overcome Parkway North.
Senior night is the last varsity home game.
“The energy was great tonight,” Carpenter said.
FHN looks to finish the season off on a high note Saturday when they travel to Howell to face the Vikings.
“I am not going to let this game get me down,” Hall said.
