Last year at the Troy Baseball Classic FHN’s varsity team didn’t do as well as they had hoped but plan to redeem themselves this coming weekend. Even though the weather conditions have put obstacles in front of the team they have trained hard indoors and occasionally outdoors. The team is going into the tournament optimistic and excited for competition.
“There’s not a team that we don’t look forward to playing because we feel as a program we will be able to compete with any other program out there,” number nine senior and outfielder Jeremy Warden said.
The group of Knights plan to work extremely hard these last days leading up to the tournament. The team plans to better work as a unit and hit the ground running when game time comes.
