The Friday before prom, a assembly for juniors and seniors was held to announce prom court and also raise awareness of the dangers of making certain choices. After Dr. Greg Hennenfent, and guest speaker Joe Richardson spoke to the students, all were then directed to the parking lot to witness how Central County Fire Department and St. Peters Police Department would respond to a car crash. Baue Funeral also was involved, as taking the “dead” crash victim away. “This was from Teens Advocating Smart Choices, and we want the students to know the repercussions of their decisions. So we really just wanted them to see in action what happens when the make one decision, and how many people it impacts”, said English teacher and TASC sponsor Dawn Jones. Photos by Matt Krieg.
