With graduation rapidly approaching, Senior Delegates will be selling “Kiss A Senior Goodbye” bags May 13 through May 16. The 50 cent bags include a personalized message and Hershey Kisses.
“I think it’s a cool idea and gives everyone a chance to say goodbye to their friends,” said junior Tanner Gunnett.
This is the second year Senior Kisses have been around. Sending these personalized goodie bags was last year’s Senior Delegates’ idea. It was so successful that this year’s Senior Delegates chose to continue the tradition.
“We did it again because it’s a fun thing to do and the seniors like to get recognized,” said Senior Delegates President Murphy Riley.
The week of May 13 is Senior Week, a spirit week reserved for seniors specifically. While seniors get to dress up and show their class spirit, underclassmen and staff get the opportunity to send their favorite senior(s) a sweet gift and show them how much they care about them.
“I’m going to send some because I love my seniors and once they leave I don’t know if I’ll see them again,” junior Gabby Jones said. “I want them to know I appreciate them. I would put ‘I love you and good luck.’”
