On June 2, the FHSD schools graduated at Lindenwood University on the football field. The previous plans to hold graduation at the Family Arena were scratched after a EF3 tornado damaged the arena the night before the ceremony. Graduation was cut down for time constraints to avoid traffic as the next school came in. Ashley Flerlage delivered the only student speech, ‘The Real Generation Z’, diplomas were presented. Math teacher Steven Willott was chosen as the graduation marshal by the seniors. Senior class President Murphy Riley presented Principal Darlene Jones a faux diploma in recognition of her last year at FHN. North graduation started at noon, followed by Howell at 3:30 p.m. and Central at 6:00 p.m. In all, the entire ceremony for North was about an hour and a half.
