The 2013 Homecoming spirit week was kicked off on Mon. Sept. 23. The theme chosen by StuCo fro Mon. was Country Western Day, commonly referred to as ‘Murica day. Students and faculty at FHN participated by getting in their country get-up, which ranged from cowboy boots and lace dresses to hunting caps and flannels. According to senior Erin Weaver, those who displayed their school spirit had fun doing it and she looks forward to day two of the 2013 Homecoming spirit week.
” I really liked the theme and I think people had a lot of fun with it,” Weaver said. “It can relate to a lot of people and each person has a different viewpoint of country day.”
