On Friday September 20 the choir classes had their annual dinner concert held in the commons at FHN. The show was directed by Lorraine Smith and emceed by Ali Farhadi. The audience got to enjoy a three course meal and a show with a Broadway theme.
“I loved the Broadway theme it made the dinner concert very fun,” Sophomore Erica Sims said.
The night started out with the Treble choir singing Choral Highlights from the famous musical Wicked. followed by solo performances and then concert choir singing Little Shop of Horrors. But what really got the crowd going was twin brothers Andrew and Justin Stoker with their performance of You’re Timeless To Me from the movie musical Hairspray.
“I thought they did a great job, they were really funny,” Junior Sam Immekus said.
Throughout the show the audience was able to participate in a raffle where they could win a cash price. The night continued on with many other performances including principle Downs being sung to by Brock Birkner. The night ended with Concert choir and knightsounds singing Make Them Hear You from Ragtime.
“My favorite part of the whole night was being able to make beautiful music with beautiful people,” Treble choir singer Marissa Meyers said.
