Varsity Volleyball
Senior Danielle Dagenais has been putting in hard work and determination every since third grade to become the best volleyball player she can be. She started playing on the girls volleyball team at north freshman year and has been on varsity the past two. This year she realized that all her hard work since freshman year has finally paid off.
Jessica Moceri (Senior)
Varsity Softball
For twelve years now, senior Jessica Moceri has been playing softball. The last four have been spent playing with the varsity team. She practiced over the summer by being on a club team to help her improve her skills. Her favorite part of being on varsity is just being around the team.
Justin Shelley (Senior)
Varsity Soccer
Hard work, physicality, and concentration all helped senior Justin Shelley make the varsity boys soccer team this year. This being his second year on varsity, he knew he had to work hard over the summer. He played with a club team in the off season, went to summer workouts and ran over the summer. He doesn’t plan to play soccer in college unless he gets a scholarship.
Anthony Starks (Senior)
Varsity Football
This year is senior Anthony Starks first year playing on the varsity boys football team. He has put a lot of time and effort to make varsity this year. He worked out everyday over the summer to prepare for the season. His favorite part of being on the team is the people he gets to play with.
Zac Fletcher (Senior)
Varsity Swimming
This year, senior Zac Fletcher, who had never swam before decided to try out for the boys swim team, he made varsity. He says that swimming is not a sport that you can take lightly and be successful at. A lot of hard work goes into it. He likes to push himself by competing with the best so that he can even be considered a threat at meets.
Megan Oostendorp (Senior)
Varsity Tennis
When it comes to senior Megan Oostendorp not a lot of practice goes into her tennis season. Before try outs she hits for a couple days and is good to go. Tennis comes naturally to Megan. She tried out freshman year and made varsity. She has been on varsity ever since moving up to the fifth spot. She plays tennis to be with her friends but she takes it very seriously when it comes to matches because she does not want to lose.
Brandon Chac (Senior)
Varsity Cross Country
This year senior Brandon Chac knew he had to keep his time under 18 minutes and 30 seconds in order to reach varsity top seven. He has been running cross country since seventh grade training constantly over the summer. He is considering running cross country in college but he is still undecided.
