On October 4th, the Francis Howell North Knights hosted the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars at the FHN Stadium. FHN was coming off of a loss to FHC last week with the score of 21-37. The Knights called for a “pink-out” game for breast cancer. Fans, coaches and players showed their support by wearing pink.
In the first quarter, neither team scored. With 42 seconds, Darrian Wolosyk scored the first touchdown of the night. The Knights went into half leading the Jaguars 7-0. In the third quarter, Terry White ran for another FHN touchdown to bring the score 14-0. At the end of the third quarter, the Jaguars had already scored two touchdowns to tie the Knights at 14. In the fourth quarter, FZW scored to break the tie, but then North replied with a touchdown of their own. With a missed extra-point attempt, the score was 20-21. With less than five minutes left in the game, FZW scored twice to make the final score 35-20.
