Nov. 6 the Francis Howell North Knights varsity soccer team beat McCluer North 3-0 to win back to back districts and bring home the school’s 18th boys soccer district title.
“It felt really good and I was really happy for my team,” senior Keegan Fouch said.
The Knights started off their scoring with a goal by senior Keegan Fouch . The Knights went into the first half leading 1-0.
With the start of the second half the Knights went up 2-0 on a penalty kick goal by Christian Vasquez. The Knights never looked back and tacked on an insurance goal late in the second half from the foot of Keegan Fouch.
“Keegan is Mr November,” senior Patrick Cronin said. “He just scores a ton of goals recently and he has really stepped up.”
The Knights will face the winner of Howell Central and Zumwalt South in the first round of sectionals on Tuesday Nov. 12.
“They both will be good games and we are evenly matched with both opponents,” Fouch said
