On Tuesday Nov 11, the Francis Howell North Knights soccer team will be competing against the Francis Howell Central Spartans in this rivalry game.

They are competing for the sectional title, after moving forward and winning districts against Pattonville in the first round (4-0) and McCluer North (3-0).

Because this game is a rivalry game, and the sectional championship all in one, it should be a very exciting evening.

“I think, no, I know that we are going to give it our best to get the victory against Central and go on to the next round,” Freshman Osvaldo Gurrero said.

If the team wins, they will move on to regionals, which will eventually lead to state, that of which is the team’s goal. The players believe that they don’t have to work on much specifically to win, just play their hardest.

“I think that we don’t need to work on anything to win. All that we need to do is play our game and we will be okay.” Guerrero said.

This sectional championship will be held at Francis Howell Central on Tuesday at 6:00.
