On Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Ecology Club will be having their first ever christmas party. The party will be held in room 120. President Hannah Rosen, started the idea of having the christmas party. According to Rosen, she is trying to make the club the best it can be which means involving the club in every part she can.
“I wanted to have a party this year because I wanted to make my last year a year I would remember,” Ecology Club President Hannah Rosen said.
The party is for all club members interested in attending. Members are welcome to bring any food and snacks they wish. They will be watching “The Grinch”, hanging out, and celebrating the christmas spirit.
“The Christmas party is a really good way for the club to bond over winter, most of the things we do is in the spring and summer so having something to do in the winter is a great idea,” junior Kristina Frost said.
The party is used as a way of bringing the club closer together. Usually the club spends most of their meetings coming up with ideas for future meetings and fundraisers, but lately they have been getting their hands dirty working outside with various different plants.
“I really like being in Ecology Club because I get to do fun things outside with my friends and learn something new all at the same time,” junior Allison Weyhrich said.
