The annual Snowcoming dance is finally here, along with spirit week. This is a time where students get to participate in STUCO-planned activities. It is a great way to get involved and excited about Snowcoming. Here’s a list of some things that we think you will need to get the most out of spirit week.
1. Bandanas- This is an easy way to show your class colors without spending too much money. You can even buy a bunch of colors so you’re covered for almost everyday of the week.
2. Face Paint- This item allows you to get on your creative side and decorate your face. Just remeber that you’re not allowed to cover your entire face with paint since it is a violation the dress code.
3. Lots of Spirit– Even if you don’t dress according to the day’s theme, you will still get the most out of your spirit week experience as long as you try your best and scream your loudest during the spirit meter at the pep assembly.
4. Class Colored Clothing- Class colored day is when everyone participates and nobody wants to be left out. So get some clothes that is your class color that way you are prepared in advance! Don’t be afraid to go all out because you won’t be the only one.Remember, class colors day is on Thursday. Freshman-Blue Sophomores-Red, Juniors- Green, Seniors- Purple.
5. Know what the theme is!- If you don’t know what the theme is, then you can’t participate. Here are the theme’s of each day for spirit week: Monday(neon day), Tuesday (Student/teacher swap), Wednesday (Freshmen-Thanksgiving, Sophomore- 4th of July, Juniors- Valentine’s day, Seniors- St. Patrick’s Day), Thursday (class colors day), and Friday (black and gold day).
