Parents don’t forget…District flyers can be accessed on the District’s Online Backpack site. The Online Backpack site is a paperless means of distributing flyers, newsletters and other important notices that your student would normally bring home in their backpacks. Snow Days With the weather turning cooler, we are reminded that winter will be here before long, including the frozen white stuff (snow) that is both looked forward to and dreaded. This is a reminder that we have snow days built into our school calendar, and we request that vacations not be scheduled on these days when we may have school to make up for missed days due to snow or other inclement weather. Make up dates are listed below:

This is part of the district’s new assessment plan and aligns with the Department of Education in Missouri. There is no cost to students. Prom tickets will be sold on the following dates before school 6:50 a.m.-7:10a.m., during all lunches, and after school from 2:20p.m.-2:45p.m. Students who have fines will not be able to purchase tickets until the fines have been paid. A guest form must be filled out for any guest who does not attend FHN- forms will be available outside room 8 and in the main office. Current members need to attend to hear important information about points. 3/4 Stratton The Francis Howell School District is committed to ensuring that student participants are properly treated for brain injuries/concussions. Students participating in the following sports and activities will complete ImPACT testing: color guard, football, cheerleading,soccer, softball, basketball, winter guard, wrestling, track and field (vaulters and high jumpers only) and baseball. Student athletes will receive the ImPACT neurocognitive assessment prior to initial participation in the aforementioned sports and post-brain injury, if necessary. After a brain injury (concussion), students must be within an acceptable range of their baseline score to return to play. The post-injury score will be reviewed by the District’s contracted sports medicine physician. The student athlete must receive clearance from the sports medicine physician prior to returning to practice and/or competition.
Testing will be on the following dates in room 49.
Feb. 25th & 26th 3 pm-5:30 pm (Soccer, Track & baseball)

(Wednesdays will be in homeroom instead of after school) Sr. Steffen is in the computer lab until 5:30 pm.
Parents, put March 4th and 6th on your calendars. FHN will hold Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on each night. Please plan on attending to discuss your student’s progress this year. Teachers will be located in their classrooms.
