Tonight the JV boys basketball team will go against Troy for the third time in their last game of the season at 5:30 p.m. at North.
“I feel like if we play the way we have been playing lately we should come out with a win,” offensive wing Chase Powelson said.
The team had been preparing for this with practices everyday when they don’t have a game and by discussing what they need to improve on. Even though this is their last game of the season, they aren’t planning on doing anything special and are just treating it like a normal game. Their past two games against Troy both ended with a win which has put the boys confidence level up high.
“I’m really hoping for a win.If we go out and play hard like we normally do, we will win since we’ve played the team before and know what they bring to the table,” forward Cameron Landers said.
Overall, the JV boys have had a record this season of 11-7 and hope to win their last game.
“[The season] has gone as well or better than I thought it would go. We let a few games slip away from us but overall it was a good season,” Landers said.
