This is a reminder that we have snow days built into our school calendar, and we request that vacations not be scheduled on these days when we may have school to make up for missed days due to snow or other inclement weather. *Another FHN Student in the news- Weston Gordon !!!-“Newswise — ST. LOUIS – Working at a Saint Louis University laboratory, second-year medical student Weston Gordon performed several studies investigating two novel drug therapies that may be useful in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease in patients with Type 2 diabetes. *“The Francis Howell North speech and debate teamhad another successful outing at the Eastern Missouri district tournament of the National Forensic League. Competing at Pattonville on March 7-8, the squad qualified three team members to participate in the NFL National Speech and Debate Tournament, which will be held in Overland Park, Kansas, the week of June 15-21. Sophomore Caleb Black earned his trip to nationals by taking second place in Humorous Interpretation, while seniors Brittany Steck and Matt Schneider were the champions in Duo Interpretation. Also earning recognition was sophomore Mensur Koso, who finished fourth out of 51 entrants in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and is the first alternate in that event. The team is coached by Jordyn Klackner, Theresa Maher, and Randy Pierce.” 3/11 Janes
