On Sunday March 9 FBLA will be going on their second annual trip to New York City. The trip is taken through a company called Junior Tours and they will be heading back home on March 12. Overall, there will be 50 students taking this trip but only nine of them will be from Francis Howell North.
“We’re going mainly for fun, I’m really excited I’ve been saving my money,” junior Adriene Davidson said.
During their four day trip the students will be doing all sort of activities. Including going sight seeing, attending the Broadway show “Newsies”, taking a ferry tour around Ellis Island and visiting the New York stock exchange.
“we’re going to a broadway show, I don’t know what it is or anything about it but I’m excited,” junior Nick Murphy said. “I finally get to learn all about broadway and New York.”
Although the trip was optional you had to be a member of FBLA in order to be eligible to go.
“I’m excited to see the new students that go and see how they react and I hope to continue this at North for years to come,” FBLA sponsor Angie Winship said.
