Dave Prost (Baseball)

Senior Dave Prost has been playing baseball since he was three years old. He is most excited this season for the attempt of making a state run and enjoying it with all his teammates.In order to do that, Dave believes that they need to work on their pitching. Prost’s favorite part of baseball is the mental toughness of the sport.

Matt Dunn (Tennis)
Junior Matt Dunn’s favorite part of tennis is competing and trying to win every match. Matt has been playing tennis since he was six years old and he is most excited this season to play with his team and hopefully have a winning season. “I think the team will go very far this year. We have a lot of good players that like to work hard so we will be good,” Dunn said. In order to succeed as a team, Matt believes that the team needs to keep practicing and work on their fitness.

Jimmy Higgins (Volleyball)
Senior Jimmy Higgins has been playing volleyball for 2 years and is most excited this season to see how far the team can go in postseason. Jimmy’s favorite part about volleyball is all the fun the team has during the practices and games. Higgins believes to become more successful, the team needs to work on talking more on the court. “I think our team has a good chance at being one of the best teams in the state,” Higgins said.

Carli Bond (Soccer)
Junior Carli Bond’s favorite part about soccer is being with her teammates. Carli has played soccer since she was six years old. “I’m most excited this season to see how far we go and how we come together as a team when it really counts,” Bond said. Carli believes that the team will do well this season.

Courtney Vishy (Track and Field)
Senior Courtney Vishy is most excited this season for the Friday Knight Relays which is the only home meet for Track and Field. Vishy has been competing on the team for all four years of high school and competes in the 800, 3200, and the 4×800 relay. “I love the team aspect. We are all so close. We have team dinners before every meet and team bonding almost every week too. I’ve made so many great friendships on the team and it’s amazing to see everyone cheering for everyone during their races,” Vishy said.

Mike Wollenberg (Golf)
Senior Mike Wollenberg just recently started golf a month ago and is starting to get into the swing of things. Mike’s favorite part about golf is being outside while playing a relaxing sport. Wollenberg is most excited about getting better this season. To get better, he believes he needs to figure out his swing. Mike believes the team will do very good this year.
