Student Council Scholarship information is now available in room 133.  If you are a senior, currently involved in Stuco, and planning to attend college this fall, you are eligible. applications are due in the main office by April 18th.  Three merit based scholarships will be offered for $500 each and three financial based scholarships each for $500 as well.

With the weather turning cooler, we are reminded that winter will be here before long, including the frozen white stuff (snow) that is both looked forward to and dreaded.  This is a reminder that we have snow days built into our school calendar, and we request that vacations not be scheduled on these days when we may have school to make up for missed days due to snow or other inclement weather.  Make up dates are listed below:

FHN All Knighter Driven To Give Test Drive Fundraiser

Saturday, April 12 -10 am to 4 pm-Dave Sinclair Lincoln

4760 N. Service Rd., St. Peters, MO. Test drive a car and they will donate $20 for every test drive per household up to $8,000!

It is a fundraiser and they do not pressure you for sales and there is

nothing to buy.  Even the hot dogs and soda are free! We can’t do it without you, your family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances.  Put it on your facebook and twitter sites. 2014 Prom: Prom is on Saturday, May 17^that 6:00 p.m. at the St. Charles Convention Center. Prom tickets will be sold on the following dates before school 6:50 a.m.-7:10a.m., during all lunches, and after school from 2:20p.m.-2:45p.m.  Students who have fines will not be able to purchase tickets until the fines have been paid. A guest form must be filled out for any guest who does not attend FHN- forms will be available outside room 8 and in the main office. Guest tickets must be purchased in room 8 before or after school during ticket sales.

Schedule pick up will be in the lower level of the school. Please enter through the gym lobby next to the track. Students must have yearbook/ID pictures taken, have immunization records checked by nurse, turn in health form (signed by a parent/guardian) and pay any outstanding fines due from the previous school year before a stu-dent may pick up their schedule. Parking permits may also be taken care of at this time. Juniors and Seniors who wish to apply for a parking per-mit must have no outstanding fines, no parking violations from the previous year and have the necessary paperwork completed for the district’s drug testing program. *Last Thursday the Symphonic Band, Brass Choir, and Woodwind Choir went to the state large ensemble contest. All of the three groups put on amazing performances.

Both Woodwind Choir and Brass Choir received straight ones. Another example of the hard work and dedication the students put forth here at North. Needless to say there are two very proud and happy band directors downstairs. 4/7 Ahlmeyer/Moorman
